Helsinki City Sightseeing:

Our private guided Helsinki city tour will present the highlights of Helsinki, including an outside view of Temppeliaukio, the famous “Rock Church”, Sibelius Park and a walk to view the Sibelius Monument, the Olympic Stadium, the modern Opera House, the Alvar Aalto designed Finlandia Hall, the National Museum, Kiasma Modern Art Museum, the Market Square and harbour, overlooked by the red brick onion-domed Uspenski Russian Orthodox cathedral. Rounding off the tour there will be time to walk around Senate Square and the green-domed Lutheran Cathedral the symbol of the city. The tour will end in the city centre.

Meet the nature in Nuuksio and Haltia!

Meet your guide at hotel lobby. 30 minutes’ transfer to Nuuksio National Park and Haltia Nature Center. 1-hour's guided tour through the exhibitions. Buffet lunch is served at Haltia restaurant. After lunch, you can experience a touch of northern magic on our hiking tour from the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia to Nuuksio reindeer park. Hiking will be carried out along forest paths which are easy to walk. Guide will tell about flora and fauna on the way. We will arrive to the reindeer park from the forest gate. You can see the reindeer at close range, feed them and take photos. You can also try on "suopunki" (lasso) throwing to a wooden reindeer's antlers. Coffee (tea/juice) and bun is served in our cozy Lappish kotarestaurant "White Reindeer" by the fire. Small souvenir shop is open.

Haltia – The Finnish Nature Centre

Located on the edge of the Nuuksio National Park, within easy reach of Helsinki, Haltia is a modern visitor centre, a stunning all-wooden building, which brings all of Finland’s nature together under one roof in a collection of exhibitions. Haltia’s restaurant serves excellent buffet lunches with great views.


Day trip to Tallinn, Estonia

Meet the tour leader at the West Harbour for the ferry crossing to Tallinn.

After 2-hour ferry crossing, arrive to Tallinn. Transfer to the Old Town. Guide will take you around and show you the narrow streets of medieval Tallinn and take you up to the Toompea Hill to see the great view over the city.

Lunch will be served in a restaurant in the old town (3 course lunch in Restaurant Olde Hansa). After lunch free time in the historic old part of Tallinn.

Transfer back to the ferry port for the return ferry crossing to Helsinki. Tour ends at West Harbour in Helsinki.

Restaurant Olde Hansa

Medieval restaurant Olde Hansa takes you on a journey to Tallinn's golden age. Olde Hansa takes the visitor back to the Middle Ages through a richly diverse menu featuring authentic dishes prepared according to Medieval standards in an ambience befitting a wealthy merchant house of the bygone era. Visitors sit on wooden benches with bear skin covers, much like the banquets of medieval lords where guests sat on benches set before trestle tables. Servers in period costume assist with menu recommendations and explanations of unfamiliar selections. Beverages include liquors like berry schnapps, beer with herbs, honey, or cinnamon, and spiced wine.

Helsinki is an excellent city to visit in the summertime. The days are bright and, at the end of August, the temperature can still rise up to 20 degrees Celsius. Various events are held in Helsinki during the summer.
